New Online Resource Assists in Implementing VAWA (Violence Against Women Act)

The Tribal Law & Policy Institute recently released a web page with information about the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and how it applies to tribes.  VAWA was reauthorized on March 7, 2013, with the inclusion of Title IX – Safety for Indian Women.  The new web resource includes fact sheets, publications, reports, links to organizations, event listings, as well as text and video related to the Act and its reauthorization.
