On Friday, the Dept. of Justice announced a new policy on
tribal members use of eagle feathers. The policy comes after a year of
consultations with tribal leaders. Department officials claim that it
clarifies procedure for law enforcement officials while reassuring tribal
members that they do not have to fear prosecution for possessing or using eagle
