Take a look at the Bureau of Indian Affairs website

If you have not seen the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) website lately, it is worth checking out.  From www.indianaffairs.gov, you can quickly learn about the BIA’s activities, services, and organization.  The website is well-organized and provides concise information on the various roles of the department.  Content in the BIA’s document library is updated on a regular basis and includes frequently requested documents such as the Tribal Leaders Directory and list of federally recognized tribes. The What We Do page links to twelve BIA program areas including gaming, land and water resources, education, and justice services.
